The club is pleased to provide the following update on the injury status and rehabilitation progress of several players as they continue their return-to-play programs:

Myles Banam – Minor Ankle Injury

Myles Banam suffered a minor ankle injury in the Rd 3 win over the Clydesdales in Toowoomba. Unfortunately due to the short turnaround time he has not recovered fully for this weekend’s game. He should return within 1-2 weeks.

Graham Rex – Hamstring Strain

Graham Rex sustained a low grade hamstring strain during the course of training. He will be monitored by the medical and rehabilitation staff and a return to play date will be set soon.

Josh Mire – Minor Knee Injury

Josh Mire sustained a minor knee injury during preseason training, with an initial recovery timeline of 6–8 weeks. Mire is progressing well and has resumed running as part of his program. He is tracking well and is expected to return to play prior to the originally projected timeframe.

Clent Lama – Minor Knee Injury

Clent Lama suffered a minor knee ligament strain in the Round 1 match against the CQ Capras. While his recovery was initially estimated at 6–8 weeks, Lama is showing signs of an early return with his rehab progress so far.

Elijah Roltinga – Broken Leg

Elijah Roltinga has successfully completed all return-to-play assessments and met the required fitness benchmarks. After an extended period on the sidelines following a leg fracture sustained last season during the warm up of Round 16, Roltinga has remained committed to his rehabilitation and recovery. He is now set to rejoin the main training group this week and is expected to return to competition sooner than initially anticipated.

Koso Bandi – ACL Knee Surgery

Koso Bandi experienced a minor setback in his recovery from ACL surgery. He is currently in his third week of rehabilitation, incorporating running and functional strength training to support knee stability and overall conditioning. Bandi is expected to return later this season.

The club will continue to monitor each player’s progress and provide updates as they advance through their recovery programs.
