The SP PNG Hunters is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with Hastings Deering, as the team heads into the latest round of the Queensland Rugby League’s Hostplus Cup.

Since 2022, Hastings Deering has backed the PNG Hunters, with both organisations working closely together in a partnership that extends both on and off the field.

In a year where the iconic Cat® Dealer will celebrate 75 years of operation in PNG, Hastings Deering’s Chief Operating Officer for the Pacific Islands and Rental Solutions, Jason Smith, said like rugby league, Hastings Deering has a long and proud history in PNG.

“Since our journey began in PNG in 1949, we have played an important part in the region, delivering high-quality products and services to our customers, and creating local employment opportunities within the communities we operate in.”

“We are proud to continue our support of the Hunters as both organisations are committed to achieving positive change and development at a local level across PNG.”

Hastings Deering’s Country General Manager for PNG and the Solomon Islands, Andrew Dare, said, “The Hunters are a part of our community here in PNG and the extension of this partnership shows our deep connections to the region.”

“They are not only helping our players prepare for life after football through skills-based training, but they share our passion for supporting communities right across PNG.”
